Welding and assembly of ships
One of the main activities provided by IMM company are welding and assembly works especially within the shipbuilding industry. Philosophy of our company is to provide to our customer the most suitable solution either at production or at repair of ships according to their ideas and requirements. Quality of services
Our company has extensive experience in welding and assembly works in the field of production of ships, ferryboats and auxiliary vessels. Highly qualified employees possess EURONORMA certificates for welding of sheets and pipes of different thickness, that guarantees quality and professionalism of the services provided in the field of welding and assembly works at production and repair of ships. We use several types of welding methods for different applications involving metals such as aluminum, stainless steel.

Assembly and welding in the shipyard with advanced equipment
Our professional team of welders, fitters and grinders is involved in welding, assembly and repair of ship sections based on production program in the Croatian shipyard of Uljanik, where we have been operating for 15 years. We have been cooperating for several years in repair of ships with shipyards in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Our welders were involved in production and welding of ships in shipyards of Riga, Latvia and in Lithuanian Klaipede, where we had 2 production and launching slipways at disposal each of which was 95 meters long and 16 meters wide with launching weight up to 900 tons. Semiautomatic and automatic welding in CO2 protective atmosphere, production and assembly of aluminum parts including galvanizing were obvious operation. To build, assembly and weld the ships we use quality and reliable technologies.
Over entire period in which we provide the assembly and welding works in the shipbuilding industry, welders and fitters of IMM company participated in production of more than 100 tanker ships including complete assembly of the vessels. Since 1995 up to 10 ship hulls for different customers across the Europe have been produced.
Ship repair
Except for welding and assembly of ships our company performs ship repairs as well. For these purposes we had in Riga shipyards 3 docks available with displacement capacity up to 30,000 tons with possibility to anchor 230 meters long and 34 meters wide ships as well as other big premises with depth of 8 meters and overall length of 2,000 meters that were capable of receiving even Panamax vessels. Thanks to availability of dock cranes with lifting capacity up to 32 tons and floating cranes with capacity up to 100 tons our company is capable to provide assembly and welding works as well as repairs and refurbishing for any type of vessel including refrigerator ships, ships for transportation of passengers, gas, oils as well as chemical tankers, ferryboats and fishing ships.
